NOVA VS SAITAMA!

If you haven't read the Prelude yet then I highly and strongly insist you read it before you read this fight!  NOVA VS SAITAMA! PRELUDE!
There are those who start out as nothing more than ordinary people, who then become those who possess great power. And with great power comes great responsibility. While there are those who are unworthy and incapable of handling such great power, there are those who are worthy and capable of handling it. In fact there is no doubt that these two know how to use it, and almost nobody describes the phrase OP better than these two. Like Saitama the One Punch Man, and Nova AKA the living star, the ultimate badass, and of course SUPERNOVA! Now the question that everyone’s wondering is, which of these two indescribably OP fighters would win in a fight? Well let’s find out!

Alright now without further ado let’s get ready for the fight! This battle will take place inside a One Punch Man video game world within the arcade, and there is no prep time.

Let the battle begin!

A new One Punch Man video game has arrived in the arcade.

We see Nova walking down Game Central Station and she entered the new video game.

We now see Nova wondering in the world of One Punch Man.

We now see Saitama walking down the street minding his own business... Until he saw what appeared to be a tall dark haired young woman approaching him. She was wearing a black spandex like suit and she had robotic arms. 
Nova: "Are you Saitama?" Saitama: "Yeah, so?" Nova: "You know, I've fought against a lot of very powerful opponents in this arcade... But none like you." Saitama: "So, that's what brings you here?" Nova: "You know, if there's one thing I really enjoy, it's a challenge." Saitama: "Well frankly... So do I." Nova: "I've heard many things about ya. Now I wanna see how strong you really are." Saitama: "Well, it's not like I have anything better to do." Then Nova pulled out her multi scanner and scanned Saitama. Nova: "Interesting... According to my multi scanner your strength and power is immeasurable. It won't be easy to find your limit, but I'll try. I guess I'll have to fight incrementally until I find it." Saitama: "Well, keep in mind I usually don't hit girls." Nova: "If that's gonna be a problem for you then just pretend I'm a guy... You ready?" Saitama: "ok."

 FIGHT!

 Nova and Saitama charged at each other and when their fists clashed, the ground shook ever so epicly! 

Then Saitama started throwing punches at Nova. Nova dodged the first few punches and then blocked one of them with her arm. Saitama noticed that when he punched her robotic arm it didn’t break. Saitama punched it again but it still didn’t even put a dent in it. Then Saitama quickly punched Nova’s arms multiple times, but it still didn’t do anything. Then Nova grabbed Saitama’s fist and then flipped him over and slammed him on the ground. Nova: “Don’t bother. My arms are made of Adamantium.” Saitama: “What’s that supposed to mean?” Nova: “It means you can’t break them.” Then Nova punched Saitama and pushed him back. Saitama: “So… When are we really gonna start fighting?” Nova: “You know, I don’t think you’re putting in your best effort.” Saitama: “I don’t know why I’d need to. My battles usually don’t last long anyway. And I doubt this one will.” Nova: “And why is that?” Saitama: “I don’t know. I guess I just don’t feel challenged enough. I’ve never faced anyone threatening to me. And from the looks of it you’re not really much of a threat to me either.” Nova: “So I’m not intimidating, is that it?” Saitama: “Well honestly nothing intimidates me. Not even giant stereotypical monsters. And I surely don’t feel intimidated by a young woman wearing black spandex.” Nova: “They’re not spandex. I don’t know why I have to keep telling everyone that.” Saitama: “Okay. But like I was saying, even with those robot arms you still don’t seem like much of a challenge for me.” Nova: “I prefer you don’t underestimate me.” Saitama: “Why not?” Then Nova quickly kicked Saitama in the stomach and started landing hits on him and then she knocked him down. Nova: “That’s why.” Saitama got back up no problem. He was just standing there looking like nothing’s happening. Nova: “Well… I’ve gotta bust out these things sometime.” Then Nova fired bullets out of her fingers at Saitama, but the bullet’s bounced off of him like nothing. Saitama: “Bullets? Really?” Nova: “You know the same thing happens when I get shot… But I’ve got more than just bullets up my sleeves.” Then Nova tried using her other weapons against Saitama. Nova froze Saitama in a block of ice with her freeze ray, but Saitama broke out with ease. Then Nova released gas at Saitama and then torched him with her flamethrower, but Saitama wasn’t affected by them at all. Then Nova fired 2 missiles out of her shoulders that seek out and exploded on Satama, but once again nothing happened to Saitama. Saitama: “Are you done yet?” Nova: “Nope… I’m just getting started… Kaioken!” Nova used Kaioken and quickly landed more hits on Saitama and knocked him down again. Once again Saitama got up without a problem. Nova: “I can tell you’re a hard nut to crack. But let’s see how you do against my lightsabers.” Nova gets out her lightsaber Wolverine claws and starts swinging then at Saitama. Saitama dodges the lightsabers without even trying. Nova: “Smooth moves. But I bet you could probably withstand these things anyway. But I doubt you could withstand being slashed by indestructible Adamantium blades.” Then Nova gets out her razor sharp Adamantium blades out of her rists. Saitama: “Blah blah blah, do you ever stop talking?” Nova: “Hey just be glad you’re not fighting Deadpool. Otherwise he’d yack your ear off. Now enough talk, let’s fight!” Saitama: “Okay.” Then Nova begins slashing her blades at Saitama quickly and repeatedly until Saitama managed to grab hold of one of Nova’s rists. Then Nova attempted to shock Saitama with the built in taser but the electricity had no affect on him. Then Saitama flipped Nova over and slammed her on the ground. Then Saitama grabbed hold of Nova’s legs and swung her around at a 360 degree angle and then threw her sending her flying and crashing through multiple buildings. As soon as Nova crash landed Saitama quickly ran up to her. Saitama: “You know, it might help if you’re eye wasn’t covered by your hair. If you uncovered your eye then not only would you fight better but you also wouldn’t have the vision and awareness of a cyclops.” Nova got back up. Nova: “Oh so you think that’s funny huh?... I’ll show you funny!” Nova started to get angry, her body was glowing red, and that’s when Nova entered SUPERNOVA! Nova charged at Saitama and punched him faster than the blink of an eye! Then she landed multiple hits on him and knocked him back. Nova: “You know, there’s a reason why my hair always covers one eye. But you wouldn’t know anything about that would you baldie?” Saitama: “Wait… What did you call me?” Then Saitama clenched his fists and charged at Nova. Saitama threw multiple punches but Nova kept dodging them. Then Nova grabbed one of Saitama’s fists and pushed him back. Saitama: “So, you like to make fun of bald people do ya?” Nova: “What?... Do you honestly think I give a crap about weather if you’re bald or not?” Saitama: “Wait what?” Nova: “You know, I don’t see what the big deal is. I mean it’s just hair. In fact if I went bald I wouldn’t care because it doesn’t affect who you are or what you can do in any way.” Saitama: “Wow… I never thought of it that way.” Nova: “You’re welcome, now as fun as this conversation is can we get back to fighting?” Saitama: “Okay.” Nova and Saitama resumed fighting. Saitama: “Consecutive normal punches.” Saitama unleashes a flurry of normal punches! But luckily Nova was fast enough to not only dodge them but also copy them! In other words she also unleashed a flurry of insanely fast punches, and every time they both threw a punch their fists collided with each other. Eventually Nova grabbed one of Saitama’s fists and pushed him back once again. Nova: “Alright… Let’s take things up a notch shall we?” Then Nova pulled a can of Red Bull out of her arm and then quickly gulped it down. By doing so she has given herself a massive boost of energy which has made her even stronger and more powerful! Then Nova quickly landed multiple hits on Saitama. Then she grabbed hold of Saitama’s cape and used him as a paddle ball. Then she performed one of her special moves called the spinning fly kick! She stood on her head and hands, grabbed Saitama’s head with her feet, swung him around at a 360 degree angle, tossed him up into the air, jumped up and then roundhouse kicked him in mid air. Saitama got back up like it was nothing. Saitama: “Well, I’ve never seen an energy drink do that before.” Nova: “Still not goin down huh? Well then I guess it’s time to take this to the next level.” That’s when Nova went Super Sayan while in her Supernova state and she became SUPERSAYANOVA! Saitama: “Hey uh, how did your hair change color?...” Then Nova performed a series of Street Fighter moves including Shoryuken, Spiral Arrow, Flash Kick, Hurricane Kick, Spinning Bird Kick, Hadoken, Yoga Flame, Electric Thunder, Blanka Ball, Barcelona Attack, Hundred Hand Slap, Cyclone, Spinning Pile Driver, Psyco Crusher, and Lightning Kick! Then Nova Punched Saitama and sent him flying forward. Then Nova teleported back and forth repeatedly hitting Saitama every time he comes flying at her. Then she kicked Saitama hard in the groin and tossed him up in the air, and then she teleported up and slammed her fist hard on his head and plowed him into the ground. Then Nova walked up to Saitama who was lying on the ground completely motionless with his eyes shut. At first Nova thought Saitama was unconscious. Nova looked down at Saitama and said, “So, you’ve had enough?” Then Saitama opened his eyes and said, “Nope.” and suddenly Saitama punched Nova in the face and sent her flying and crashing through multiple buildings once again! Then Saitama quickly ran up to Nova as soon as she crash landed. Then Nova got right back up and adjusted her neck. Despite taking a direct normal punch to the face from Saitama, she didn’t even get a single scratch! Nova: “Is that all you’ve got?” Saitama: “Well I’ve gotta say, I’m impressed. Very few have been able to withstand or survive my punches. Let alone take them without a scratch.” Yeah well it’s gonna take a lot more than one punch to take me down.” Then Nova entered SuperSayaNova 2! As Saitama was just about to land another punch on her, Nova’s perception of time not only slowed down but completely froze. At this moment Nova has become so fast that even Saitama looked slow compared to her! Saitama looked like he was moving in very slow motion towards Nova. Nova: “Meh, still faster than most of my other opponents.” Then Nova landed multiple hits on Saitama faster than he could even blink! Then Nova decided restore her perception of time back to normal again. Nova: “Sorry, was I movin too fast for ya?” Saitama: “Well I’ll admit you are pretty fast.” Nova: “Thanks. Here if you want I’ll slow down for ya.” Saitama: “Okay.” Then Nova and Saitama charged at each other and both punched each other in the face at the same time! Nova and Saitama both fell down and immediately got back up. Nova: “Had enough yet?” Saitama: “I’ll admit, you are tougher than I thought.” Nova: “You think that’s tough? Well have you ever gotten hit in the face by Thor’s hammer?” Saitama: “Uh… No.” Nova: “Well then, allow me to show you what it feels like.” Then Nova raised her hand and called Mjölnir! Although the hammer was taking a bit of time to come to her because it has to travel through different games to get to her. Saitama: “Um… What are you doing?” Nova: “Just wait. It’ll come.” Saitama: “What will?” Nova: “Just give it a sec.” Saitama: “Um, okay.” While Nova was still raising her hand waiting for Mjölnir, Saitama was just standing there with that bored expression on his face. After about 10 seconds Mjölnir finally came and flew into Nova’s hand! Saitama: “What’s that?” Nova: “Have you ever gotten hit by a hammer?” Saitama: “Not that I remember.” Nova: “Well let’s see if you can handle being hit by one with the power of a god.” Then Nova quickly uppercutted Saitama by hammering his chin! Then she Quickly landed multiple hits on him. Then she once again froze her perception of time and then repeatedly hammered Saitama multiple times faster than he could blink! Then her robotic arm holding the hammer began spinning like a propeller for about 3 seconds and then she hammered Saitama hard in the face and he was sent flying and crashing through multiple buildings. Then Nova teleported in front of Saitama as soon as he landed. Nova: “Had enough yet?” Saitama got right back up. Saitama: “Well I’ll admit, I actually felt something… I think.” Then suddenly Saitama punched Nova in the chest and sent her flying and crashing again. Saitama: “And I’m guessing you felt that too.” Nova: “Hilarious.” Nova said sarcastically. Saitama: “So how does this thing work anyway?” Saitama grabbed the handle of the hammer and tried to lift it. He has using very little effort, but he noticed that he didn’t lift the hammer. After a few tries Saitama was eventually struggling while trying to lift the hammer off the ground. Eventually Saitama gave up. Saitama: “What the… How heavy is this thing anyway?” Nova: “It’s not the weight that’s holding it down, it’s magic. The hammer is infused with Norse god power. Don’t bother trying to lift it, cause it won’t let you.” Saitama: “Why not?” Nova: “Cause you’re not worthy of wielding it.” Saitama: “Oh… Well that explains it.” Nova: “But I am.” Nova said just before she hammered Saitama in the face again. Then Nova decided she was done with the hammer for now and she threw it and sent it flying back to Thor. The hammer hit Saitama in the face again on its way back to Thor.

Mjölnir returned to Thor. Thor: “She could at least ask next time… I think it’s about time my father and I make another hammer just for her.”

Anyway, Saitama got back up. Saitama: “So uh, aren’t you gonna hammer me again?” Nova: “Nah. Surprisingly even the hammer isn’t enough to bring you down. No doubt you’re pretty strong. So it looks like I’m gonna have to use your own strength against you.” Saitama: “What?” Then Nova decided to use the Jedi mind trick on Saitama. Nova: “You will punch yourself in the face.” Saitama: “I will punch myself in the face.” Then Saitama punched himself in the face. Saitama: “Ow! What the…” Then Nova used the force and her telepathic powers to control Saitama’s body and make him punch and kick himself repeatedly. Especially in certain places. Then Saitama thought to himself, “She… She’s using my own strength against me… I can’t let this happen… I won’t!” Then Saitama charged at Nova and attempted to punch her. But Nova used the force to push Saitama back. Then that’s when Nova became SuperSayaNova 3! Saitama: “Wait… How did you grow hair just now?” Nova: “It’s called Super Sayan 3.” Saitama: “Really? Could you show me how to do that?” Nova: “You need to have Sayan blood in order to become a Super Sayan. Sorry… But you know, if you ask me, I think you look better bald. If you grew that much hair it’d make you look ridiculous.” Saitama: “True.” Then Nova fired plasma balls out of her palms at Saitama, but Saitama dodged them. Then Nova transformed her hands into plasma cannons and fired massive beams of destructive energy at Saitama. Saitama ran in order to avoid the beams and then turned and punched Nova in the face forcing her to stop firing her plasma beams. Then Nova teleported behind Saitama and punched him so hard it sent him flying all around the world in only 2 seconds! When Saitama came flying back at Nova she slammed him into the ground. Then Nova teleported away. Saitama: “Where’d she go?” Then suddenly Saitama could feel the ground shaking. Saitama: “Huh?” Then Saitama saw a whole entire mountain being lifted off the ground, and the one who was carrying it was Nova! Saitama: “Well… That’s new.” Nova activated her rocket boots (even though she doesn’t need them while in her Super Sayan forms) and she flew while carrying the mountain above her head. Nova: “Heads up Saitama!” Then Nova threw the mountain down at Saitama! Just before the mountain could land on Saitama, he said, “Consecutive normal punches.” And then punched the mountain quickly and repeatedly just when it came in contact with him. After punching the mountain multiple times Saitama shattered the entire mountain into an enormous pile of rubble. Then Nova teleported behind Saitama and grabbed his head and pinned him down. Then she activated her rocket boots again and flew forward very fast. She was hovering closely above the ground only about a foot away from it while she was still pinning down Saitama and she was dragging him across the ground. Then she threw him forward and sent him sliding and skidding across the ground. Then she teleported in front of him, charged up her arm for about 3 seconds and slammed her fist on his head so hard it sent him sinking right into the earth’s core and then piercing right through the entire planet like a bullet through glass! Saitama was now in space. Then Nova teleported behind Saitama and delivered a devastating punch to the back of his head and sent him flying. Nova: “WHY… WON’T… YOU… FALL?!” Every time Nova said one of those 4 words in that sentence she punched Saitama and sent him flying into different planets! Then she tossed him right into the Earth’s crust! Then Nova teleported in front of Saitama. Nova: “Now have you had enough?” Satama got right back up. Then Nova threw a punch but Saitama grabbed her fist. Then Saitama threw a punch but Nova grabbed his fist. Saitama: “Serious series… Serious headbutt!”  Then Saitama headbutted Nova and sent her flying. Then Saitama ran up to Nova and uppercutted her so hard it sent her flying all the way to the moon! Then Saitama launched himself off the planet and aimed straight for the moon. Nova quickly moved out of the way just before Saitama could land on her. After Saitama crashed into the moon he immediately got back up. Nova: “You missed.” Then Saitama punched Nova in the face. But Nova slowly pushed his fist back with her face, and then she punched him and sent him flying into a nearby planet. Then suddenly Saitama could feel the planet he’s on shaking while many other planets shook as Nova entered SuperSayaNova 4! Then Nova teleported behind Saitama and punched him so hard it sent him flying and crashing through multiple planets! When Saitama stopped, he started thinking to himself, “Wow! Not only is she strong, but she’s stronger than any opponent I’ve ever faced! Even Boros! Not only have I underestimated her, but I’ve been holding back on her this whole time… But I’m not holding back any longer... It’s time to get, serious!” Then the look on Saitama’s face changed and that’s when he got serious! Nova: “Let’s end this shall we?” Then that’s when Nova decided to finish off Saitama by unleashing a full on SuperSayaNova4 Kamahamaha! Nova: “KAMA… HAMA… HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Nova unleashed her massive Kameha wave! But luckily Saitama quickly launched himself away from where Nova was aiming just before she unleashed the blast. Nova released a wave so massive and powerful it obliterated hundreds of galaxies within seconds! She was releasing every last bit of energy she currently had within her while releasing the wave. And she didn’t even see Saitama escape before she released the blast. Saitama was standing on a planet right behind Nova while she was releasing her wave. Then Saitama launched himself off the planted and sent himself flying towards Nova. Saitama: “Serious series… Serious Punch!” Nova suddenly heard the word “Punch” echoing and she turned her head, and what she saw appeared to be an exaggeratedly giant red fist hurtling towards her! So Nova decided to use whatever energy she had left within her to put up a force field around herself to protect her. As soon as Saitama’s Serious Punch hit Nova, it forced her to stop releasing her wave and it sent her flying and crashing through multiple planets! Eventually Nova finally stopped and landed. She was still alive, but she had just used up all of the energy she currently had generated within her when she released that massive wave and left herself completely drained of energy and was forced to power down back to her base form. Nova was laying down on the surface of the planet she was on and boy was she exhausted. Then Saitama lunched himself onto the planet Nova was on. Saitama: “I’ve gotta say, you really put up quite a fight. In fact I’ve never fought anyone as strong as you! You really gave me quite a work out.” Nova: “Don’t think I’ve given up. Unlike you I’ve got friends and family who believe in me back home. And as long as I’ve got someone to love, I’ll always have something to fight for.” Saitama: “I see… Well I’m afraid I’ll have to end this the same way I always do… With one punch.” Nova knew that this would be her last moment. So she used this moment to remember all the past experiences she had with her family and friends. Her mother, her father, Tessa, Flynn, Vanelope, Yang, Foxy, well okay not Foxy, and of course her true love, Ralph. She remembered their first kiss. She remembered their wedding. She remembered all the time they spent together on their honeymoon, kicking butt and having alone time with each other. She even remembered the dances they had together, both at Kaos’ fortress and at the celebration party. Nova didn’t give up hope, because she knew she still had someone to love, and therefore she still had something to fight for. All of these happy love filled memories took over and Nova could feel her heart beating and the star burning with love within her. Suddenly Nova started to glow blue. She glowed so bright it lit up the entire sky. Finally Nova has now entered HYPERNOVA! Just when Saitama threw a punch Nova grabbed his fist. Then she stood up, gently poked Saitama’s chest, and then finger punched him and sent him flying and crashing through dozens of planets! Nova: “I told you, as long as I have someone to love, I’ll always have something to fight for!” Then Nova entered her Super Sayan Blue form while in her Hypernova state transforming her into her ultimate form known as HYPERSAYANOVA! When Saitama got back on his feet he saw Nova hovering in mid air while all powerful. Saitama: “Even when I was serious I was still holding back… But I’m not holding back this time! I’m going all out!” Then Saitama launched himself and aimed straight towards Nova! Saitama: “Serious series… ULTIMATE, SERIOUS, PUNCH!” Saitama was now about to unleash his 100% full maximum power on Nova! Once again an exaggeratedly gigantic red fist came hurtling towards Nova! Nova just stood there ready to take it on. Nova: “Bring it on.” The fist was hurting towards her in a slow yet epic suspense. Eventually the fist came in physical contact with Nova and Saitama has now just hit Nova with his Serious Punch! When Saitama punched Nova, the whole scene temporarily went blank in a big white flash of light! Eventually the light cleared and the scene was now visible again. We now see Saitama with his fist pressing up against Nova’s face. Surprisingly Nova was still in one piece! Suddenly Nova opened her eyes and looked at Saitama with an unpleasant look on her face. Then Nova used the force to pull Saitama towards her and then she grabbed Saitama by the neck and began to choke him. Saitama tried punching Nova multiple times in attempt to make her let go but it wasn’t working. Then Nova grabbed Saitama’s fist to make him stop punching her, and then she let go of his neck and levitated him in mid air. Saitama: “I… I can’t move.” Then Nova starts speaking to Saitama telepathically. Nova: “Of course you can’t. I’ve got complete control of you now. And now that I do, I can finally talk to you.” Saitama: “Wait… How are you doing that?” Nova: “I can read your mind Saitama. But that’s not all I can do with it… Now tell me, why do you fight? Why do you act like a hero?” Saitama: “I don’t know. For fun I guess.” Nova: “For fun? Really? You’ve gotta have a better reason than that.” Saitama: “No really, that’s it. I’m a hero for fun.” Nova: “I see. So you don’t really have anything to fight for do you?” Saitama: “Well…” Nova: “you don’t need to tell me. After digging deep and exploring through your mind I now know more about you than even my multi scanner can tell me. I know what you’re like Saitama. You know, we’re not so different you and I. I once felt the same way you did. Like you, I once felt alone, empty, joyless, purposeless, miserable, and other things that are hard to describe. I felt like I had no reason for living nor any purpose left in my life. That is until I finally realized that I had something worth living and fighting for. I had friends, family, and overall Love. As long as I have somebody to love, I will always have something worth fighting for… It’s too bad you don’t have the same… Every moment of your life you feel empty inside, like there’s something missing. Every morning you wake up you wish you’d just stay asleep permanently. Every moment you live you wish you’d just die. You say you’re a hero for fun, but deep down you’re so miserably depressed you feel like you have no purpose nor any reason for living. Because you’re so strong and powerful it makes it nearly impossible for anyone or anything to kill you. Which means you’ll have to live with the pain forever… But here, allow me to make that pain go away.” Then Nova grabbed hold of Saitama and then started injecting her deadly destructive power and energy into Saitama’s body. Eventually Saitama’s body became overwhelmed and overloaded with Nova’s power to the point where his body couldn’t take it anymore. His body was glowing blue from the inside and his skin was starting to crack like glass with bright lights shining out of the cracks. Nova: “I’m sorry I have to do this Saitama. But I can’t stand to see you suffer like this. So I won’t let you suffer any longer. But don’t worry. Soon all your years of pain, suffering, and misery will finally come to an end. Once this is all over, the pain will be gone, and you can finally rest in peace.” Saitama: “J, just kill me now and get it over with.” Nova: “As you wish.” Nova began charging up her most powerful punch known as the ULTIMATE HYPERNOVA PUNCH! Nova: “I’m sorry…” Saitama: “Th, thank you.” Then Nova unleashed the punch on Saitama! And as soon as her fist came in physical contact with Saitama’s body, his body instantly shattered like glass into a million pieces! Then the impact of the punch was so massive and powerful it released an ultimately destructive blast that instantly destroyed the entire universe! Then it shined a light so bright that it shined through the screens and temporarily blinded everyone who was watching this fight! Eventually the light stopped and everyone could see again. We now see Nova hovering in mid air with her arms raised. She was putting force fields around every single, planet, solar system, and galaxy in the entire universe so that nothing would get destroyed by the resulting Hypernova blast! Nova knew she had just won this battle, and her work here was done! So she teleported back to Earth and powered down back to her base form. Nova walked towards the exit without looking back.

But then suddenly something appeared behind her. It was flashing like epilepsy, and then it became solid. It was Saitama! Because Saitama was inside his own game he was able to regenerate and or respawn. Saitama stood there with a surprised look on his face, because he had just witnessed something that has never happened to him before. He had just been beaten! Saitama: “But… How?” Nova: “How what?” Saitama: “I… I have never faced an opponent who could even remotely match my strength, let alone actually destroy and or defeat me in battle. But you know, just because you’re not the best in the entire arcade, doesn’t mean you’re not a hero.” Saitama: “Really?” Nova: “Really… Look around you. This city, this world, this game needs you. It wouldn’t be here without you. I know you’ll do whatever it takes to protect it… And that’s what makes you a hero.” Saitama: “Thanks… Hey uh, all that stuff you said back there. Was that true? Do I really have nothing to live or fight for?” Saitama said with a slightly depressed look on his face. Nova: “Well… Only if that’s how you look at it right now. But who knows? Maybe one day you’ll find a new destiny. Maybe one day you’ll meet a nice girl, and then find love.” Saitama: “Uh…” Nova: “Before you ask, I’m married.” Saitama: “Oh no it’s not that it’s just… How do you know if I will or not?” Nova: “I don’t… I can’t see into the future… But hopefully one day things will change for you, for the better. And maybe one day, you’ll have something worth fighting for.” Saitama: “Well I hope so… Hey uh, just out of curiosity, what is it about you that makes you so strong?” Nova: “Well the source of my power is a blue star. In fact the most massive and powerful star in the entire universe.” Saitama: “Okay that makes sense, but you had that power within you all along. What is it that made you achieve such great power? Exactly what is it that makes you so strong? Not just on the outside, but on the inside as well.” Nova: “You really wanna know?“ Saitama: “Yes.” Nova: “Well, like I said the source of my power is a blue star. But what really makes me so strong… Is love.” Saitama: “Really?... Tell me, what do you have that’s worth fighting for?” Nova: “My friends… My family… And overall, all the people who I know and love. And as long as I have somebody to love, I’ll always have something to fight for… I hope you’ll find someone to love and fight for as well.” Saitama: “Me too.” Nova: “Hey uh, I way just on my way to Freddy Fazbear’s to meet up with my friends and family for a slice of pizza. You wanna come?” Saitama: “Me?... Wow I uh, I’ve never really been invited to something like this before.” Nova: “Well then I guess it’s your first time. Just wait till you meet my family and friends. I’ve got a feeling you’ll make good friends with them.” Saitama: ”You think so?” Nova: ”Yep. Now come on.” Saitama followed Nova out of the game. Saitama: “Hey uh, to be honest, I’ve never really been outside my game before. What’s it like on the other side?” Nova: “Oh really? Well then, there a whole new world out there filled with many other worlds for you to discover and explore. For instance have you ever visited the Dragonball universe?” Saitama: “Nope. But from what I’ve seen while fighting you, it does sound pretty cool.” Nova: “Oh trust me, it is.”

Whoa… What in the name of Shigeru Miyamoto just happened? Well, I’ll try my best to explain it…

So because Saitama was inside his own game he was able to regenerate and come back to life. But that doesn’t change the fact that Saitama did die and he did lose this battle! Now I will explain how and why Nova wins this battle, and I will explain everything 1 step at a time.

I will start by saying that if this was just a base form battle then Saitama would’ve easily won. If you compare just their base forms, Saitama easily has the advantage in strength, speed, and durability. But luckily Nova has more than just her base form. But before I discuss that I will now discuss the advantages Nova has against Saitama. For starters Nova is a lot smarter than Saitama. I think it’s safe to say that Saitama is well, average intelligence. While Nova on the other hand has an IQ of about 160, which is literally at Albert Einstein’s level! Plus her brain can process much faster than an ordinary human so Nova can definitely think and react much faster than Saitama. But of course Nova usually doesn’t use her big brain for sciencey stuff (at least not all the time) she uses her brain to fight. In fact Nova is a far better strategizer than Saitama. Before fighting any opponent she always plans ahead by scanning her opponent with her multi scanner so she knows more about her opponent. Now of course because Saitama’s strength is immeasurable the multi scanner didn’t really help much since it couldn’t really measure Saitama’s strength. But that doesn’t change the fact that Nova is far better at strategizing than Saitama. Nova is also WAY more skilled and experienced than Saitama is! For most of Saitama’s life he was just an ordinary person, and it wasn’t until his early to mid 20s that he decided to be a strong hero. He has been doing 100 push ups, sit ups, and 10 kilometers of running for 3 years straight. Not to mention of course he lost his hair while doing so. That may sound very determined but that is nothing compared to Nova. Nova has literally been training and fighting her whole entire life! Heck when she was only 6 years old she already had better aim with a gun than most of her mother’s highly trained professional super soldiers! Nova has mastered every single type of martial arts there is, including some fictional types such as Street Fighter, Jedi, and even Dragonball! Now if you think about it, Saitama isn’t really that skilled. Let me put it to you this way. Saitama’s main methods of attacking are basically just punching, kicking, and occasionally headbutting, and that’s pretty much it. So not only does Nova have way more fighting experience than Saitama but she also has a lot more fighting skill and she has more different fighting moves to choose from that she can use against Saitama. While Saitama spends his days fighting off stereotypical monsters, Nova spends almost every day of her life fighting off mutant alien robot insect called Cybugs which can either be small and easily killed with a single shot or even large and powerful enough to consume and destroy entire planets! Nova fought off those things casually for years, and this was when she was just a child and this all happened before she absorbed that star! Not to mention deep down Nova is much more pure of heart than Saitama, which is mainly the reason why she can lift Thor’s hammer and Saitama cannot. Now Nova's weapons might've been useless against Saitama (except for maybe her Adamantium blades and plasma cannons) but Nova didn't really need her weapons to fight Saitama.

Now let’s discuss their strength. Like I said before Saitama would easily win if this was just a base form battle. Especially since he definitely has the strength advantage. Now you’re all probably wondering, exactly how strong is Saitama? Well his strength maybe immeasurable but actually many people including me have found a way to measure his strength. I’m sure we all know Saitama’s feat of being in the epicentre of a blackhole. Especially if you’ve watched those videos from the prelude. Saitama was able to move his arm and throw a pebble at Garaganchu which defeated him while inside a blackhole. In order for Saitama to just move his arm, it would take at least 7 trillion pounds! If you convert that into tons then that would be exactly 3,175,146,590 tonnes! And that’s just to move his arm. When Saitama throws his normal punches, he punches with little to no effort. Throwing punches with no effort is basically the same thing as plainly moving your arm. So therefore just 1 normal Punch from Saitama is the equivalent of over 3 billion tons of force! And that’s just with little to no effort. But here’s a good question. Is 3 billion tons enough force to break Adamantium?... I think it’s safe to say the answer is no. So Saitama is not able to break Nova’s Adamantium robotic arms. But he is still able to break the rest of her. Or at least he is while Nova is just in her base form. But as Nova went through many different forms not only did her strength, speed, and power multiply repeatedly, but so did her durability. Eventually Nova became durable enough to withstand the force of Saitama’s normal punches. Now I think it’s safe to say that an “Emmotional Energy Boost SuperSayaNova” is durable enough to survive a normal punch from Saitama. Don’t believe me? Then I’ll show you the chart again. 

Now let’s discuss speed. In just their base forms Saitama easily had the advantage. Nova in her base form is fast enough to outrun her own bullets which definitely makes her much faster than the speed of sound. But Saitama is obviously faster than the speed of light. Luckily this battle had no prep time so Saitama obviously underestimated Nova and therefore didn’t even try to fight her at first. So he wasn’t at his fastest when the battle started. But when Nova started entering her other forms that’s when she her speed was able to match Saitama’s. In Nova’s Supernova states she can move fast enough to slow down her perception of time. So she was able to keep up with Saitama’s speed a little more. But when she entered her SuperSayaNova forms that’s when her speed began to outclass Saitama’s. Nova in her SuperSayaNova forms is so fast that even if you slow down or freeze your perfection of time she will still move faster than you can blink! Heck even Raiden’s zandatsu or Dante’s quicksilver wouldn’t work against her! So she’s definitely a lot faster than the speed of light, and at the same time she has instant transmission. Heck Nova didn’t even need her Novacycle for this battle, which is a bike that can warp WAY faster than the speed of light!

Now there are many details to explain. But luckily I’ve found a couple videos that might help explain a few things. Here’s the first video. 

Now me personally I don’t think that everything in this video is 100% accurate but I do know that most of what’s in the video is true. The video might not be entirely 100% accurate but definitely more than 50% of the video is right! Rather if that video helped or not, it was still a good video.

Now there’s a lot of hype about Saitama. A lot of people have assumed that Saitama’s full strength and potential is limitless. But a lot of people have never actually proven this to be true. But believe it or not I have actually found a video that completely debunks all of those claims and proves that Saitama is NOT infinite! Just watch the video and pay attention to every single detail. If you blink you might miss something important. Roll the clip. 

Now of course like the video said, we shouldn’t judge these characters at their worst, but at their best. Goku, Superman, and Saitama have all made mistakes in the past. Even Nova has made mistakes! Here’s an example. Remember when Thor placed his hammer on top of Nova and she couldn’t get up because Thor’s hammer was pinning her down? So yeah. But this video still proves that Saitama is NOT infinite and he does have a limit. Not only that, but here is another fact that I bet a lot of you never even thought of... SAITAMA NEEDS TO EAT! That's right, just like every other human being Saitama needs food and water to survive. He can become hungry and thirsty, and he can even starve to death or die from dehydration if he hasn't eaten or drank anything for a very long time, which is of course fatally dangerous to anyone's health. This fact also proves that Saitama's body does have physical limits!... Now you may or may not be wondering, does Nova need food and water to survive? Well to be honest... I don't know. You see Nova is a video game character who lives inside an arcade world, and to be honest arcade logic doesn't really make sense sometimes. Now of course in the story "Wreck It Ralph SUPERNOVA!" we saw Nova and her friends and family eating pizza together at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. And in the original Wreck It Ralph movie we saw Ralph eating a giant cherry. Not to mention he once put a talking candy named Sour Bill in his mouth but he spit him out after so that doesn't count. So the video game characters in the arcade have been seen eating before, but honestly I'm not sure if they really need food to survive or not. These characters have been around for decades and a lot of them haven't even changed one bit. Now like I said before sometimes arcade logic makes no sense... Anyway let's get back to talking about Saitama shall we?... Now that's not the only example that proves that Saitama does have physical limits... Now don't worry I'm not gonna bring up the time Saitama was bleeding because I know that was just a dream so it doesn't count. Instead I'm gonna bring up this... 
As you can see Saitama got hurt after being scratched by a cat, which did leave some scratch marks on his body. Now it is unknown if this was a regular cat or a powerful cat, but it is still proof that Saitama can be hurt physically...
Now granted the One Punch Man series is not over yet and it’s still continuing so we probably haven’t seen Saitama at his maximum potential just yet. But this video plus the fact I've stated earlier have both still proven that Saitama is NOT limitless! So I think it’s safe to say that Saitama’s full potential does have a limit. Now you’re probably wondering what that limit might be. In other words, how powerful is Saitama? Well if you’ve watched all of the videos I’ve showed you in the prelude and just now, we have estimated Saitama to be at the very least at solar system level! He’s possibly even at multi solar system level! But for the sake of argument, let’s just pretend that Saitama is theoretically at galaxy level! Which is about the same level as an “Energy Boost SuperSayaNova 3!” Here once again I’ll show you the chart of the many levels of Nova’s destructive capability. 

I think it’s safe to say that even if Saitama is at galaxy level, Nova’s SuperSayaNova 4 form is able to not only match Saitama’s power but also surpass it. Let me put it to you this way. Putting a serious Saitama up against an “Emmotional Energy Boost SuperSayaNova 4” is basicaly putting the power to destroy 1 galaxy up against the power to destroy thousands of galaxies! So I think it’s safe to say that Nova has much more destructive capability than Saitama. Heck in just 10 seconds or less Nova once charged up a punch that was the equivalent of 1 septillion megatons, which is equal to the power of 4 Death Stars! I think it’s safe to say that alone is a more destructive feat than Saitama’s feat of using his serious punch to stop and deflect Boros’ planet busting attack. But of course Saitama wasn’t using his full power when he used his serious punch. He may have put effort into his serious punch but he was only using a fraction of his power. Which means his full power is far more destructive than the serious punch he used to defeat Boros. But still, I think it’s safe to say that Nova wins in terms of destructive capability.

Now Saitama may have multi solar system durability which means he is able to survive being in the cores of multiple stars, but the star within Nova’s body is the most massive and powerful star in the entire universe and it easily surpasses each and every star in the entire universe!

Now you’re probably wondering. Is Nova durable enough to survive a serious punch from Saitama? Well technically I think the best answer would be, yes and no. Here I’ll explain. Nova’s body alone in her “SuperSayaNova 4” form is durable enough to survive the force of 1,000,000,000,000 tons! But she can easily use her Supernova energy and power to either make her physical body more durable in order to withstand more devastatingly destructive attacks, or she can also use it to create a powerful force field around herself to protect her as well. Once when Nova was in her Emotional Supernova state she created a force field around herself that protected her from both Akuma’s raging demon and M Bison’s deadly power at the same time. And that was just in her plain Supernova state. Nova in her “Emotional Energy Boost SuperSayaNova 4” form can create a force field strong and durable enough withstand and protect her from attacks that could obliterate thousands of galaxies! So even with Saitama’s full effort I think it’s safe to say that his serious punch won’t be able to penetrate that.

Now I think it’s safe to say that the Kamahamaha wave that Nova released during this battle would’ve been able to destroy Saitama. But luckily Saitama was able to quickly escape from the area where Nova was aiming just before she could unleash the massive blast. Now keep in mind that it wasn’t Saitama’s serious punch that forced Nova back to her base form. When Nova released that massive wave she used up and or drained all of the power that she currently had generated inside her body. Luckily she had enough energy left in her to create a force field that would protect her from Saitama’s serious punch just before he hit her with it. Now when Nova was lying there completely drained of energy, she knew that would be her last moment. And what better way to spend her last moment than to remember all of the wonderful times and experiences she had with the people she loves? Her friends, her family, including her true love Ralph. When Nova was able to get in touch with herself and rethink of all the love filled moments she had, she was able to feel the love burning within the star in her heart, which unlocked the full limitless potential of the star within her and she went HYPERNOVA! Remember the full potential of the star within Nova is limitless and love is infinitely greater than any other emotion. So yes, Hypernova does have infinite power! Not just power, but also infinite strength, speed, durability, stamina, energy, and well, everything! So I think it’s safe to say that Saitama’s serious punch won’t do anything to someone with infinite durability. Now the source of Nova limitless power is the star within her, but what truly unlocks her power… Her limitless power comes from love! Nova has friends and family back home who truly love her, and knows that no matter what she will always have someone to love, and as long as Nova has someone to love, she will always have something worth fighting for!

Hey I just realized that I didn’t include Nova’s SuperSayaNova Godess and SuperSayaNova Purple forms in this fight! … But if you think about it, Nova didn’t really need them. Especially while she had her ultimate form called HYPERSAYANOVA! Which is basically Super Sayan Blue multiplied by an infinite number! But of course that’s still infinity because infinite isn’t an actual amount and infinity isn’t a real number. It’s something that describes something that constantly continues and never ends. But her HyperSayaNova form does have more different powers and abilities to choose from than just Hypernova alone! Either way when Nova finally reached her maximum potential, Saitama was done for.

Now of course like I said before Nova does NOT like to enter her most powerful forms right away! It has been shown multiple times in the story that she likes to fight by increasing her power incrementally one form at a time. You know, taking it one step at a time. Starting from her base form, followed by Supernova (or ocasionally Super Sayan), then SuperSayaNova, and as the battle continues Nova keeps going through different forms, form by form until she has entered a form that's strong or powerful enough to beat the specific opponent she's fighting. But luckily she was able to last long enough in battle until she has finally reached her maximum potential. Now before you ask yes there is a way Saitama can win! Like I said if this was just a base form battle then Saitama would’ve easily won with just one punch! But that wouldn’t be fair now would it? Now if we gave Saitama prep time then he would know about Nova and he would know that he needed to kill her as quickly as possible. But of course that wouldn’t be fair either now would it?

Now I think it’s safe to say that Saitama isn’t really the toughest opponent Nova has ever faced. Remember when Nova fought a nigh omnipotent reality warper named Discord? She still fought him even after he took her powers away. I know she had help but still. Hey do you remember when Nova fought against Beerus, Majin Buu, Golden Frieza, and the Master and Crazy Hands from Smash all together at the same time? Now that was epic! Oh and you remember Nova’s battle with Kaos right? Even I can’t imagine how powerful Kaos had become after he stole great power sources from all around the arcade! Overall I think it’s safe to say that Nova has fought tougher opponent than Saitama.

Now you’re probably wondering, is there any way to defeat Nova’s Hypernova or HyperSayaNova form? Well I think this might be the best answer. In order to defeat someone with infinite power you have to be like one of those illogical broken characters who are somehow stronger than infinity. Like Cosmic Armor Superman or Archie Sonic for examples. Or perhaps maybe one of those ridiculously OP Dank MLG Memes. Well you get the point. Either way Saitama is definitely not one of those types of characters. Unless you’re talking about Wanked Saitama but he’s a non cannon character so he doesn’t count. Now here’s a question that you may or may not be wondering. Is there any way to prevent Nova from ever going Hypernova ever again? Well technically yes but not only would there be almost no chance of it happening, but you would probably have to be the most cruel, heartless, and evil thing in all of existence in order to do such a terrible thing! You would have to take away everything and everyone that Nova has ever cared about or loved! In other words you would have to kill all of her friends, family, and everyone else she ever loved or cared about! You would have to take everything away from her! If Nova has nothing and nobody left to love, then she has nothing left to fight for! But of course there is nobody who is that cruel, heartless, or evil enough to do such a terrible thing to Nova! So I think it’s safe to say it’s never gonna happen. Especially while Nova is protecting her family and making sure that no one and nothing will ever harm them no matter what. She just loves them too much to let them die.

Now of course as you saw at the end, Saitama died inside his own game so he was able to regenerate and come back to life. It’s a good thing he didn’t die outside his own game otherwise there’s no coming back. Anyway, Saitama still lost this battle. Saitama knows that and like a good fighter he excepts that. Now he is off with Nova to meet her family and friends that he never had. Hopefully Saitama will too have friends and just maybe he might finally have something worth fighting for.

Now in the end Saitama flew too close to the sun, and got burned! (Please let me know if you have a better concluding phrase. If not that’s fine)
